The donor kidney had multiple renal arteries supplying separate poles, with a significant gap between them. Through a laparoscopic donor nephrectomy and precise vascular transposition to avoid kinking, the team successfully achieved the vascular anastomosis.
Now, one and a half months post-transplant, the patient’s kidney function remains completely stable.
