At this juncture, the patient’s family travelled to India for treatment and consulted Dr. Akshay Tiwari, Director & Head, Musculoskeletal Oncology, who confirmed a Giant Cell Tumour that primarily affected the lower end of the radius. The patient was prepared for surgery to remove the tumour by radicalising the Ulna. Post-surgery, the painful symptoms completely subsided, and the patient is now on his way to full recovery.
