Mr. Kafunya Mulyasanga, from Zambia, had a diagnosis of Oesophageal Cancer in 2022. Mr. Mulyasanga was prepared for chemotherapy and radiation, on the completion of which he underwent a minimally invasive oesophagectomy. The laparoscopic surgery removed the affected oesophagus and reconstructed the remaining portion. The patient responded positively to the treatment and has shown remarkable improvement. His appetite and diet have improved subsequently. Mr. Mulyasanga flew back home in better health.
