Mrs. Felicia Chidinma Tobin, from Nigeria, travelled to India with a cancer diagnosis in her right mandible. Mrs. Tobin wished for a safe recovery with the restoration of her face’s aesthetics. Her case was examined by Dr. Sunil Choudhary, Principal Director & Chief, Plastic Surgery, Max Hospital, Saket, Delhi, India, who confirmed the diagnosis of Oral Cancer and advised surgery. To improve the accuracy of the surgery, a 3D model of her jaw was created. During the reconstructive surgery of her jaw, a bone from her leg—called fibula, was used. Irrespective of the complications of this surgery, it was uneventful and a wish-fulfilment for Mrs. Tobin. At the end of her treatment, she returned home after bravely fighting against Oral Cancer.
