Brachytherapy (Bravos Brachytherapy System)

The Bravos system, introduced by Varian Medical Systems in October 2018, is designed for high-dose-rate brachytherapy using 192Ir sources. It incorporates new features such as the Cam Scale, a device for daily quality assurance and system recalibration as well as channel length verification and distinct settings for rigid and flexible applicators. A study evaluated the precision and accuracy of the Bravos system for clinically relevant scenarios, using dummy sources.
