Gagan Palta

A resilient, purpose-driven Legal and Compliance Leader, Gagan Palta brings over 25 years of strategic experience across India and South Asia. As Director & General Counsel at Max Healthcare (since September 2024), he leads the legal and compliance functions, overseeing litigation, commercial transactions, and enterprise-wide compliance.

Previously, as General Counsel at Uno Minda, and through leadership roles at CNH Industrial, GE Power, Alstom, Genpact, and CitiFinancial, Gagan has built deep expertise in dispute resolution, M&A, corporate governance, securities law, and ethics programme strengthening. Recognised for building elite legal teams and nurturing leadership talent, he is driven by integrity, a compliance ethos, humility, and grit.
